WELCOME to the WORLD of EKPHRASTIC POETRY
Ekphrastic poems are inspired by works of art. They are a perfect blend of visual and performing arts expressed in literary form.
In this fun and engaging writing course, your child will simultaneously take on the role of an art critic and creative poet!
Together, you’ll study a handful of art prodigies (young, talented artists) and develop a rhyming poem based on your reflection on one of their art pieces.
The course is broken into a 3-week assignment but is self-paced. You may work faster or slower. That's up to you.
